What is Pokemon Sleep?
Pokémon Sleep is a mobile app set to release in 2020. Think of it as the opposite of Pokémon Go, instead of encouraging movement, it encourages sleep! It’s essentially a sleep tracker that rewards players for sleeping!
Gamification in education has worked wonders in the classroom and online learning environments. Kids love games, they love technology, they love Pokémon! The concept is simple, you go to sleep and wake up to rewards. So they have to go to bed early to continue playing their game! It’s brilliant.
Pokémon Sleep actually lets you train Pokémon while you’re sleeping. The details of how this works or what else is possible remain to be seen come launch day. Now Pokémon GO players can keep logging hours as they slumber.
Here’s an official press release for what’s being called: “A gameplay experience unlike any other.”

Players Will Receive The New Pokémon GOPlus+ Device With The Game

Bundled along with the game will be the newly announced device called the “Pokémon GO Plus Plus.” It will pair with your cellphone via Bluetooth and track players’ sleep patterns.
This device will be able to do everything the older version Pokémon GO Plus does. It will actually sync up Pokémon Go and Pokémon Sleep.
The app is a collaborative effort between the company Select Button and Niantic, the developers of Pokemon Go.
From a business standpoint, you have to give them a hand. They found a way to engage players 24 hours a day.
